What is CACFP?

A Federal Program Built Around Feeding Children Well

The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federal nutrition program administered in Texas by the Texas Department of Agriculture. It was created to ensure that children in licensed care settings receive balanced, nutritious meals every single day — and it supports the centers that make that possible.

  • Children receive balanced, nutritious meals that meet USDA standards
  • Your center receives monthly reimbursements to sustain the program
  • Free to join — no cost ever to your center
  • We handle compliance monitoring and TDA paperwork for you
Why Choose Meals & More Support

We Mean More

More nourished kids. More healthy habits. More full stomachs. More impact in your community.

More Nourished Kids

CACFP exists so that every child in your care receives a balanced, nutritious meal — regardless of what they had at home. You provide the warmth. We make sure it meets every standard.

More Healthy Habits

Children who eat well learn better and grow stronger. We give your staff the meal pattern education and resources to build healthy eating habits that children carry for life.

More Compliance Support

CACFP regulations protect children by ensuring meal quality. We guide your center through every TDA requirement so you stay compliant, stay enrolled, and keep those meals coming.

More Full Stomachs

For some children, the meal at your center may be the best one they get all day. That matters deeply to us. We are here to make sure that meal is always available, every day you are open.

More Peace of Mind

We take the paperwork, monitoring, and administrative burden off your shoulders. You focus on the children in front of you. We handle everything behind the scenes.

More Community Impact

Every child you enroll is one more community anchor where children are seen, fed, and cared for. Together we build a Texas where no child goes hungry while in licensed care.

The Process

How It Works — In 4 Simple Steps

Getting started with CACFP through Meals & More Support is straightforward. We guide you through every step.

1

Apply Online

Fill out our simple contact form. We will reach out within one business day to review your center's eligibility and answer your questions.

2

Get Approved

We submit your application to TDA, obtain program approval, and handle all the enrollment paperwork. You just gather your center's documents.

3

Serve & Record

Serve CACFP-compliant meals and snacks daily. We train your team on meal patterns, menu planning, and attendance records that meet TDA requirements.

4

Receive Your Reimbursement

Submit your monthly meal counts through our process. We claim your CACFP reimbursements from TDA and disburse your monthly payment directly to your center — so you can reinvest in the children you serve.
